He wasn't sure why, but it was important to Misha that Bella knew that wasn't the reason behind his actions. Risking the chance that she might pull away, Misha leaned forward. He traced two fingers along the line of her jaw, before setting them under her chin and tilting her face up to him.
"I'm not saying this because I'm supposed to, Bella. I think we both know that if I was thinking about my career, I'd stay far away from you."
Misha's eyes flicked to the side, ensuring they were alone before he continued.
"I didn't invite you into my bed because I was being a good teacher."
