"No, I understand that," Harry said, "and so long as you know, then good. Aurors hunt the worst of the worst that are out there." They even hunted him down, but Harry was young and reckless and truthfully, he'd wanted to be caught. He wanted to let them know what DuMorne was and that he wasn't this saint that everyone thought he was. But there were a lot that the aurors could and could not do and sometimes they caught the guy they needed to get and the politics stepped in and something weird happened. They were released or sent to Azakban for a shorter sentence.
None of that made sense. And Harry didn't like it. the same problems existed in the muggle world as well. Harry tended to operate somewhere in between where he saw that witches and wizards had more in common with the non-magic types than they realized.
"Just keep your face . . . faces. Keep your faces around me for now," Harry said, "and no more sneaking into my office or I knock more off of Gryffindor, which I don't really want to do."
