"Yeah, Baker isn't so good with names," Isaac replied, running his hand through his hair and pulling at an errant curl out of nervous habit.
"It's Isaac. One hundred percent, Isaac. At least she got it close."
Isaac nodded at the mention of the backpack. He'd barely had anything to bring with him, most of his clothes long grown out of and his electronics sold off by his dad. He still had his cell phone, but that lifeline would probably be cut off by magical interference if Hogwarts was anything like his old school.
"I don't really need that much," he said, stepping out into the crowd, letting Derek lead the way.
"Whatever kind of uniform they wear up there, I guess. Some books?"
He knew that everything came at a price, not that he would necessarily mind paying up if it was to Derek Hale. He might enjoy himself for a change.
