If he had known she was concerned, he would have told her she did not need to be. He was so sure of his future that he did not fear his own future. Lady Nyx could never truly be defeated, and he would be rewarded some day for his service to her. Those who cowarded away and turn their backs on the true vision would be punished. He did not want to be one of those people.
He knew that Ophelia was gifted and it seemed that her gift had manifested itself as she touched him. His head was a dark place and it had information, some of it very recent, that he was not willing to share with anyone yet. "No need to be sorry," he said slowly, "but would you mind telling me what you saw?" He did not notice she hadn't moved her hand until she quickly pulled it away. A strange reaction, considering she'd already caught the vision. He felt confusion and a touch of something else.....uncertainty, perhaps.
