Her older brother was clever, at least from what Mikael remembered of him. He seemed the type of respectable person that Mikael could actually respect. "That would be an added bonus," he said, slightly uncomfortable with the subject and confused as to why he was actually feeing that way. Perhaps it was because in his own engagement he already cared a great deal for his betrothed, but could never grow to care for her in that way.
Perhaps the big of them working together in potions would be beneficial. Perhaps he could present something to his elders that would be of worth and would gain him some extra favor with them. That would be an added bonus. "Once we are settled into the year, I think that is a splendid idea. We could creat something worthwhile together...who know?"
Mikael caught her words, but because he was anything but sweet he assumed she must be talkin about the fruit. He finished his honeydew and pushed away the rind of that as well. He looked around, grimacing as he saw so many people acting childish. "Some people and situations never change," he said, incling his head to particular rowdy fifth year at the Hufflepuff table.
