Re: Mik and Ophelia
To focus his mind on something other than Ophelia's words, Mikael slowly picked at the small amount of food that he did have in front of him. Her question was one with an answer, but one he dared not divulge the answer to. "I am aware of who has been selected for me. However, I am not allowed to discuss the arrangement at this time. But I can say I am...torn about it." He was wholly uncomfortable discussing it farther than that. At least currently. After all, he still had not heard from his elders. "Sometimes what is expected and required is a bitter pill to swallow, I suppose."
"I would very much enjoy seeing what you do have left.," he stated, very glad for the change in direction the conversation was taking. And in all honesty, he was a fan of art and Ophelia was very talented. "I wouldn't say happy, no. I am relieved that this is the start of the end of childhood. I am quite excited about the future, and finishing school is part of that, unfortunately. And being here does have certain perks, I suppose." One of which was certainly not the injustice of being denied his blades.
