Re: Private to Sera
"Women at school?" he hadn't really given it much thought. He wasn't the type to notice females because it would be frivolous to do so. His life was was not his own and had never been his own. He had known from an early age that he was expected to fulfill certain duties, especially providing a heir to the Vetrov line. Who he did that with mattered little to him. What mattered was carrying on the purity and respectable traditions of their bloodline. "I haven't really ever thought about it. Attractions hold little interest to me. I suppose if the right female who met my needs and was pleasing, perhaps then..." He trailed off, thinning. He'd never shown interest. He wasn't sure he could be interested. He was still a virgin, after all, and had no desire to change that status. At least not yet. He had, of course, thought several females were pretty, but he's yet to cling to one.
"I am sure she will be. Father and Uncle keep what is best for us in mind." He had never had reason to doubt his family. They had the best intentions for the Vetrov children. They wanted them to be prosperous, and that was exactly what Mikael wanted as well. "I suppose now that you mention it I am a small bit curious. Hogwarts is winding down for me, as well, I suppose that part of the future is fast approaching just like the rest of the future."
"It would be rude to refuse, I agree with you," he said, choosing his words carefully. He wasn't sure how he felt about that. The grandson could be obnoxious from what he could muster to recollect about him. Of course, he'd been with school with him for years, but he did not know everyone and could not be bothered to remember every detail about every person. In a rare moment of cousinly affection he looked kindly at Serafina. "Do you want to go?"
