Jade looked irritated and hissed, knocking at Gizmo irritably. No, this didn't bold well in that respect and Jade moved to find her way to climb onto Ash's shoulder and then come to rest behind his head, almost like a pillow. "She's spoiled," he said and then added, "A lot like my sister." And in both cases, both were true, though Jade didn't appear happy with her spoiling a lot of the time, even if she never really turned it away.
"And here I thought Ravenclaws lived to complete homework," Quinn joked with a chuckle, "Are you sure you're in the right house, Blackstone?" It was typical of Quinn to use last names sometimes with people he was joking around with, but it was a sign of friendship when he used the first name.
"Speaking of the Quidditch cup," James said piping up, "Ash, your parents called my place to ask where you were. Where'd you end up?"
"Lyra's," Ash said and gave no further explanation. He'd let her do that.
