Wan accepted a plate and plasticware, but gave a shrug at the question, "It doesn't need to be big. Maybe about this much?" Wan held up two fingers that were, at best, a half inch apart. A mere sliver of cake.
"You look fine," he said, changing the topic back to Gracie's appearance. "Really. Different than I thought you would, but you look good."
To Gareth, he grinned, "And I didn't know you could eat the sparkle toppers on cakes. I've seen some in windows and I always thought they were plastic pieces you could keep and play with or throw out."
