"Good. You are always such a good example to those younger and more impressionable," he stated, shifting his body weight so that he could see his cousin better. He was glad that she had answered him before he had the chance to even ask the question. He hated seeming like he was always nitpicking Serafina, but he just knew what was expected and what was proper of each of them and he did what he could to uphold those expectations.
"Ash is a good man. I would have been pleasure with that pairing as well." When she asked him if he had anyone in mind he could not help but chuckle ever so slightly. "No dear cousin, I have no desire to play matchmaker in my own future. I've much more important things to attend to. I am sure who they choose will be of good, noble blood. Looks are not important to me, you know how these things go. It's all politics. As long as she is quiet and subservient, that is all that matters." He had no idea what he would do if their fathers told him to pick his own match.
He would be, for lack of a better term, dumbfounded.
