Mula's ears went back at the two guests that she had not approved of and a low growl came out. Wan make a soft clicking noise with his tongue and she protested by tweaking one ear forward and keeping the other back while firmly settling herself into her seat. Considering she was the size of a dog on the large end of 'medium', she took up quite a bit of space.
Wan moved to join her opposite where Gracie flopped and he leaned over to try and wrestle the table top tucked against the wall into place between them so they'd have a spot to set the cake.
"Chocolate sounds nice," he said, smiling at Gareth. "Sorry I couldn't give you a better answer. I've never actually had proper cake before. Cookies, ice cream sometimes, and maybe some moose, but not cake really. I mean, I've had a cupcake once. It was birthday cake flavored. I'm not really sure what that was supposed to be though."
When he got the table in place, he beamed at the two, "I'm glad you're both loud. I wouldn't have known where to find you otherwise."
