Re: Private to Sera
Mikael looked up when he heard his cousin's voice. If he was to endure anyone during the tedious trip, Serafina would be a welcome option. At least with her they had a common ground, a common blood. Glancing down at his book, he closed it slowly. It wasn't terribly interesting, but it was better than the prospect of having nothing during the trip.
"It's a history of sword types during the late seventeenth century. I have read it so many times that I could probably quote it, word for word. I would rather talk to you. This is, after all, your very last teain ride to Hogwarts. It's quite an accomplishment." Of course, to him he could care less. Serafina was no stranger to his indifference to his schooling. He saw it as only a means to an end and nothing more. However, he knew what was expected of him and he had no issues following through with it. For now. And with his cousin, he knew she was on the cusp of her new life, one in which he hoped she did what was expected of her. He had faith, however.
"Have you talked to your father before departing? I wasn't able to reach him or father." He felt as though they had been meaning to reach him, but with preparing for school he had not been able to. Of course, whatever they wanted to speak about they would reach him soon enough. He knew that he, too, was fast approaching adulthood. Perhaps that was what he felt was coming.
