Hunter's agreement meant a lot to Fawn without him even realizing it. There were times that she was always so worried that she was too clingy to her brother and that he would be better off without her constantly wanting to be by his slide. There were times that she was sure that he would be far better off without her. He could get a girlfriend, find someone to make him happier than she could. At the same time though, the idea of him loving someone else as much as he loved her hurt her heart.
The boom caused her to jump as she immediately scooted closer to him, pressing her side against him, but for comfort at the sound and in eager anticipation of seeing the fireworks together.
"That's odd... they should go off." But then there was the first spark of light, a pretty emerald green that shot into the air. Fawn waited for it to burst open like a blossom, but it didn't come, instead it seemed to leak into the air, warming and changing until there was the outline of a snake crawling around something.
Fawn didn't realize what it was at first as she glanced to her brother in confusion. "Hunter, what is that?"
