"He can always just keep us on our toes with practices," Brinley offered, "I mean, even if he's just refereeing, it'd be great to have him around to help us prepare. I don't think that's a conflict of interest, right? I mean, it's not like he'd be the type to pick favorites because he practices with us. That standard was already set when he played for us." It was mostly that she enjoyed having Misha on the team and he'd been a good player. They all knew they'd feel his absence when he left.
The mention of Jackson, however, had Brinley look at Keara in question, "What do you mean? You think he's homeless now or something?" That brought some sense of concern. While Brinley and Jackson weren't the best of friends, she was familiar enough with the beater that she felt worry that homelessness might be the case. Her lips pressed together tightly and she had yet to drink from her milkshake.
"He won't talk about it. Not until we corner him and force it out of him and I don't really know how to do that," Brinley admitted, "You got any ideas?"
