"Well don't get used to it, I don't intend to make it common practice in a public forum," Peter retorted before continuing with his sandwich. He had the entire rest of the evening off, thanks to having summers off, so he didn't have to wolf down his own sandwich. He found it amusing how quickly she was eating. Such a beautiful, dainty young girl scarfing down a burger like a voracious teenage male. He had to admit it, he liked it. Not... in an attractive sense, but in the sense she obviously wasn't some debutante. It was a realness.
He shook hsi head, he was analyzing her eating, it was true he needed to get out more. And stop doing that so that he didn't end up getting himself in trouble. Eating slowly, he listened to her about her father and shrugged, "I mean you could pop by... I guess, anytime you wanted. Door's always open kind of thing, right? And I think your father's too smart to fall for that sort of trick."
HE sighed and hit his head against the table, "God, what is he going to say to me when I walk through that door?"
