His day was getting better and better. Keara seemed like a pretty cool girl that just gave Luke the go ahead for anything. He was definitely going to take her up on it even though in the back of his mind he knew it was wrong. Student, teacher relationship. Very wrong. But he didn’t care. He didn’t want to be a teacher and Keara wanted him. He wasn’t going to tell her no. And Luke was pretty sure she knew this was a feel good thing if she was offering it with an almost complete stranger.
“You’ve never had pho? Well I’m going to have to change that,” Luke said with a shake of his head. “It’s is a Vietnamese noodle soup made up of broth, linguine-shaped rice noodles, a few herbs, and meat, either beef or chicken. When it’s made well it is so good.” Now Luke really wanted pho but he knew he wasn’t going to get any here. He grinned and laughed a little at her question. “A lot. That is all I’ve been doing since I graduated school. Been all over the world. It’s a beautiful place.”
