With a loud, cheerful call to her mom not to worry about the door, Selphie bounced her way to the front room and flung open the door, "Hellllllllooo, Head Boy!" She gave Michael her biggest, warmest grin, gave him a quick hug and welcomed him inside her house house.
Mrs. Tilmitt was peering around the corner, pretending to not be nosy, but Selphie knew better. With a small chuckle, she motioned for her Michael to follow her down the hall.
"Welcome, I'm glad you came," she said excitedly. "This is my ma, Maria." She motioned to the woman who was waving shyly. "My dad's out, but I'm sure he'll be back around later and I'll introduce ya."
