Wan tried to be polite as much as possible, especially now that he was living with Auger-Eye. His Goblin friend was not happy with inappropriate language being tossed around and Wan's mouth had been cleaned up a lot in the last six months. But that didn't mean he couldn't or wouldn't use a appropriate word here and there.
"Can't really do a lot of digging when you don't have the tools to dig," he countered with another shrug. "I didn't learn to read or write English until last year. And what I've learned, I've had to teach myself. Libraries near me didn't carry much in Chinese or Korean and I can't get very far on the internet when all I'm doing is making guesses about where the pictures I'm clicking on take me.
