Who: Molly and Gabe
Where: Club Random, Marble City
When: late August 7 into August 8
Warning: some sex things.
Status: Closed, Complete
Gabriel leaned against the wall near the usual exit point for long distance arrivals in the station. He was dressed for the club - black jeans that left little to the imagination and a loose button down (also black) tucked in. He preferred long sleeves to hide the forearm sheath that held his wand. He took a drag off his cigarette, but avoided scanning the crowd, not wanting to trigger a vision. There were far too many people around, he was almost guaranteed to see something that would spoil the mood for the evening. And he assumed Molly would notice him anyway. She was tall enough, and he stood out enough.
Molly headed out her door in Chicago and in ten second flat, a swift turn took her from there to the very station where he was waiting. She tucked her wand away in a sheath hidden under her skirt and looked around, a smile curving her lips slightly when she saw him standing there. She headed to his side, teasingly looping her arm with his free one. "So, you have a girlfriend for the night. How's that feel?" Obviously she was joking - she had been avoidant at best when it came to dating, though she at least had a bit of a reason. Part of her though did want to be normal with that for at least one night, and so she would ignore the existence of Harry Dresden and enjoy her night out.
Gabe casually checked her out as her arm slipped through his. "I could do worse," he said with a grin. Her tank was a bit on the modest side, but he could appreciate her black miniskirt - especially the flash of leg he got when she put her wand away. "I should get into the mindset of calling you Molly not Carpenter tonight though." He stubbed out his cigarette and took her hand properly. "Shall we?"
"One of those things people have to get used to. Don't think it means I'll take it easy on you on the pitch." A smile as he took her hand, and she settled at what seemed like an appropriate distance for a teenaged couple to walk at. "Let's go, yeah. Sort of curious if this will actually work, honestly." She never understood the people who stared and talked to her, so having a night off from it would be nice.
Gabe fully expected he would be 'working' most of the night not so subtly discouraging guys from approaching Molly. Silly girl had no idea how hot she was. He was practiced at the exercise though, having spent so much time in the clubs. And practice meant he didn't bother with the roped line, heading directly up to the bouncer at the door.
"They got you on door tonight, Bulldog?" The large man shrugged a reply and looked mildly annoyed as he looked over Gabriel and his partner. "Just two tonight." The bouncer arched a brow at Gabe and looked incredibly amused as he angled his head indicating the pair could enter.
Gabe turned to Molly as they moved into the shadows and lights of the club. "Good guy… not much of a talker though. Let me start a tab, and then I'm yours."
Molly followed him as he walked to the bouncer, watching the interaction. It was similar in her mind to how Mac was back home. Not much talking but he didn't need to. Unspoken ideas got through nonetheless. She understood that well enough. When he said he was going to set up a tab she nodded, her eyes moving around the club and her body already almost unconsciously moving with the music.
Gabe paused a moment to appreciate the way she was moving before turning his attention to the bar and finishing that task. He handed over his ID and several bills and then focused on Molly again. "The dance floor awaits."
Molly nodded once again and moved with him to the dance floor. Music was fun, and the flickering lights and beats got her swaying very quickly. While she didn't think she could create it, the beats fascinated her and took her out of herself almost entirely, so that she was moving freely within seconds of arriving on the floor.
Merlin, she looked good Gabe thought as his body found the beat of the music and a rhythm with Molly. He really would not be pretending all that much when he glared off others who might think about approaching her. His frequency in the clubs meant he could anticipate and head off a number of interactions too so that Molly hopefully wouldn't even notice they had taken place. When he was at his best, he could do it just though positioning and screen what he was doing in the steps of the dance. The only kind of dancing he was at all competent with was this kind.
She did not notice at all that he was warning people away from her with his glares, simply that she was having fun dancing with a friend and nobody was bothering her. It was actually kind of nice to be there with someone. Back home there were very few clubs she frequented, and she tended to have to be on her guard about things regularly. It seemed to be different when she was with someone and she found herself preferring it on a number of levels, unconsciously moving so it was more obvious she was dancing with him specifically.
She made his job easier as she grew more comfortable and began dancing with him and not just with him. "Drink time… what do you want?" Gabe announced after an indeterminate amount of time dancing. It was hard to tell when one song blended into the next with a continuous dance beat.
A frown as he stopped her to ask her a question. A drink? It took a moment to process and she shrugged. "Water's fine." Because keeping hydrated would be a good idea and she could alternate it with beer or whatever to keep herself from a hangover tomorrow, especially since she'd have to apparate in the morning or whenever she woke up.
"Flat? Sparkling? Infused?" This was California, ordering water wasn't as easy as just ordering water. Gabe grinned at her as he steered them to a small booth where she would be close enough he could still keep an eye on the situation.
She quirked an eyebrow at him slightly and rolled her eyes. "Flat, preferably in a bottle." Water was water in her eyes, but that came from living with half a dozen other kids. You could get water easily from a tap and if that wasn't good enough you could make coffee or tea with it. She seated herself at the booth to wait for him to return, looking around, still moving a little bit with the beat of the music.
Gabe threaded his way through bodies back to the bar to order, watching Molly carefully as he leaned against the bar waiting for the order. She looked like she was having a good time. He was glad that things were working out according to his plans. Not comfortable enough to take some E, although he admitted the temptation to himself as he watched a buy happen next to him. He satisfied himself with alcohol that was technically also illegal because of his age, and a bottle of plain, flat water for Molly.
Molly took the water when he finally arrived back at the table, opening it and downing a good quarter of the bottle before smiling at him. "Thanks." It was good enough, cold and refreshing, and she glanced around for a moment, just watching all of the people. This was much more fun than what she would have been doing back home, that was for sure.
"Ten dollar water." Gabe teased as she all but chugged it. The drink break had been well timed then. "So am I delivering on my promise so far?" He asked, knocking her leg with his under the table, and then reaching into his pocket for his e-cigarette.
"You're the one that decided to pay." A teasing laugh, as he was the 'boyfriend' for the night and it was how he was supposed to act. She could pay him back later if he wanted, she had brought a bit of money out with her. "I'm having a lot of fun, yes." And so he was delivering on his promise.
"I invited you out," he shrugged. He might be completely Touched in the head, but he could behave like a civilized young man occasionally. Although telling his 'date' what things cost wasn't the most polite. "But I wanted credit for when it comes to try-outs next month," he added with a grin as an effort to keep it casual despite his admission. It wasn't much of an admission on the surface, because he was a flirt, but he and Molly hadn't really hung out in this way before.
"You did, yes." And she wasn't complaining about that honestly. She was having fun being out with someone her own age and with her own skills. She loved her brothers but they were muggle, and Harry was great but he was so much older - and lately had nothing to do but tell her what she wasn't allowed to do. She was pretty sure Gabriel would not be doing that. "You know you're in. No way a newcomer could manage what you do. I had half the house try out last year when I got captain."
"I sorta feel bad for next year's captain," Gabe teased, although he knew that some of the younger snakes will have developed in skill during the next year too. "Stiles should've tried out last year," he noted, not that he would've wanted to see someone bumped, but he had captain potential and would've been better with two years experience rather than just one.
"He had his reasons. He's good though so hopefully he and whoever else comes up will be able to pick up when we all are gone." She hoped that she could spend some time near the middle of the year looking at some players that might be helpful for the team next year, but that was some time off still.
Everyone had their reasons. "We won't be there to care." It was perhaps a bit of Gabe's fatalistic attitude showing through, and he glanced around to see if he Saw anything that needed attention or might distract him later when he wasn't in the mood to deal with it. It was hard to see the shadows in the dark corners of the club, but a look confirmed there were no birds at least.
"No, but it'd still be nice to leave some people that know how to play." Molly enjoyed sports in general and so adding a bit of extra practice to help the kids that would be coming up in the future was not that big a deal to her. It would keep her out of trouble, if nothing else. She did notice him looking around and half-dismissed it. She didn't look directly at people because of her extra talent, and she'd heard enough about his to not discount that he had a purpose for looking.
"They're replacing more than half the team anyway." After all, the two of them and Sera and Battye would all be gone. "We'll probably have scouts this year." With Battye's relationship to Wallace Battye, it was inevitable he was getting scouted - whether he wanted it or not, and the scouts would look at everyone.
"I know it." Molly nodded. She knew both parts. She knew vaguely of the connection between her chaser and the famous player, though she rarely thought much of it. He never talked about it so either he didn't care or he didn't want to think about it. Maybe both. She didn't know. "It would be sort of cool to get an offer. I still don't really know what I'll be doing after school is done."
"You'll work it out." Everyone did eventually, although in his case he'd never had to think about it. It had been determined before he was even born what he would do eventually. "A couple years of playing could work well to delay having to figure it out though." He didn't think a professional team would take a risk on him even if he was good enough to make the grade. He had too many marks against him with his name and being Touched as he was.
"Eventually." Molly nodded. She wasn't all that worried really. There were things she was capable of even if she wasn't amazingly skilled with some forms of magic. If nothing else she could work in muggle relations, or keep helping Harry with the things she personally was good at. "Wanna go dance again?" She had polished off her water by this point - quickly, yes, but she'd been thirsty, and sitting and talking wasn't what a club was for.
"Fuck yea." Gabe was standing even as he put his e-cig back in his pocket. It was away enough that he could offer his hand to help her rise before she had completely gotten up herself. "That's why we're here." He said, unconsciously echoing her thoughts. Play was the point of this place. And what happened happened.
She took his hand when he offered it and moved back to the dance floor with him. She was more comfortable and settled now and so she was moving entirely with abandon, letting the music wash over her and just going with that. It was a lot more fun than having to be aware of her surroundings and she found herself very grateful to be there with him.
Gabe was aware of their surroundings but he was used to it from when he came with his sister. With his guy friends, he didn't care if he lost track of them before the end of the night. Molly looked good dancing - felt good when the music brought them in contact. Gabe let the music control the movement, doing only what was necessary now to keep others out of their small circle of space on the floor, but the alcohol had loosened him a little. He and Molly had found a rhythm now though and so he didn't have to be as active in his deterrence of others.
Molly didn't often think about looking good. Honestly? She didn't care. It was fun being out. She liked being around her friends, and she was typically more focused on sport and things like that than how she looked in public. She willingly touched him on occasion, when the flow of the music brought them close enough, but she didn't think anything of it really.
That Molly didn't think about looking good was a nice trait honestly given how most pureblood girls were - hyper aware of appearances and of maintaining them. Hell, Gabe was conscious of appearances, although personally he saw the way Death had marked him as much as anything else in his reflection. He was mostly aware of the attention generated from others on the dance floor, and making sure they didn't get too much.
Molly was way more involved in dancing and enjoying herself than she was in how she looked. Honestly she was finding herself more so in how he looked - focusing on the dark hair and all that momentarily evoked her mentor. Honestly she didn't always realize she was making those connections in her mind but they were there nonetheless.
Gabe was jostled strongly from behind - he obviously hadn't been paying enough attention. Gabe put his hand protectively on Molly's arm as he turned to tell whoever bumped him to "Watch it." Gabe scowled.
She frowned slightly at the interruption and moved closer to Gabriel, not wanting there to be some sort of issue. He wasn't that much bigger than her, not really, but it seemed like he was taking his job very seriously and so it would likely be safer positioned nearer to him.
'Let's take a break," Gabe murmured, glancing at Molly while keeping his eyes primarily on the interruption. In fact, he kept track of the individual even as he led Molly away from the dance floor until they got to the bar. "Sorry," he apologized when they were clear. "Was getting a little crowded."
Molly nodded slightly, allowing him to guide her to the bar. "Should we grab drinks?" Her eyes moved to him, not sure if he wanted to. She was turning over his action in her head while she sat there, though it would need some time before she fully processed what had happened.
"Flat water again?" Gabe asked, already leaning forward to get the bartender's attention. He kept his hand on her arm, staying close physically. He smiled at her, trying to mask the mood, though his dark eyes stayed serious.
"Go with a beer?" Molly examined him quietly for a moment before shifting a bit closer, her own hand settling on him. He was clearly trying to protect her from something, and she accepted and would go along with it. Her eyes met his for just a split second and she offered a smile back, averting her eyes quickly though.
He was annoyed. It had been deliberate a interruption. "You're gonna have to be more specific again, Molly. Bottle, tap, light, dark?" Gabe shifted so that Molly would have space at the bar beside him so she could talk to the bartender herself and work out the details of her preferences.
"Bottle, darker ale." She pursed her lips slightly. "The place I go back home doesn't really send their stuff anywhere, but that's the closest I could get I think." Mac's tavern wasn't really supposed to serve her but she was occasionally able to swipe a bottle from Harry's fridge when he wasn't looking.
Now Gabe's smile was real. Both at what she ordered and the fact that she was willing to drink with him. He could relax a bit more about things. "I was a little worried you'd be drinking water all night and that I was going to need to temper my usual drinking," he admitted.
"Water makes sure the hangover's manageable." A grin as she was handed a bottle and she lifted it to him in the style of a toast before drinking some. A lot of girls she knew didn't have the build to take a large quantity of alcohol, but even though she was slim, she was also tall enough that she had some weight to process it. Not that it mattered though- she wasn't going home tonight and she wasn't alone, so she could drink.
"So does more alcohol," Gabe teased, 'toasting' her back. Not that he necessarily recommended his technique for everyone, especially not when he was drinking for the second night in a row.
"Yeah, except then my mom might kill me and we wouldn't have any more of these nights out." A grin and she looked around for a moment, still pleased at the change in level of interference she had to deal with. Aside from the one incident she wasn't being bothered by anything in the least.
"Ahh, see I don't have to worry about that," Gabe said with black humour. "And I thought you were going home with me tonight," he arched his brow at her and licked his lips before taking a swig from his bottle.
"I am, but the solution would involve drinking tomorrow and between my parents and Harry I'd be on lockdown until I'm 30." She raised a brow at his half-flirty behavior and smirked. "Told you, you're limiting yourself. No girls here to sleep with you tonight."
"Harry?" Gabe asked, curious why he would have that much influence. "The guy who just got assigned as a Teacher as a form of community service?" He took another sip of his beer. "I got off this morning, I can go a night without," he admitted casually, hoping the admission would reassure her about his sex life and his goals for the night.
"Yeah. He's part there to babysit me too." Molly shrugged and rolled her eyes, running a hand through her hair. "He and my dad are good friends, so he's around a lot." It was true and she certainly didn't mind seeing him, but the fact that he saw her as a kid to be supervised did rankle a bit.
"What's so dangerous about you that you need special attention from the teacher?" Gabe asked, slightly incredulous. Okay so he knew she was good with mind magic stuff but that didn't seem any worse than his or Lia's visions.
"Magic on muggles." Molly shrugged a tiny bit and laughed. "Apparently it's better to let people just do horrible things to themselves." She still didn't think she believed that but she had to accept that what she was told was what had to happen. "Like I said, he's my dad's friend too so I get my own personal supervisor."
"Yea that's generally frowned on," Gabe agreed when she mentioned muggles. He was sensitive to that since that was part of what his father was convicted of. "Although given his reputation, is he really the best guide on those sorts of issues?"
"I just wanted to help. The whole thing is stupid." She laughed. "He sort of blows off the idea of secrecy but he tries to help people. I guess it's a double edged sword?" A shrug and she ran one hand through her hair. "I mean, helping people isn't bad."
Gabe grinned at her and shrugged. "Depends on how you do it." He'd learned although it might be helpful to some, telling someone how they would die was not exactly appreciated most of the time. "And most people are afraid of what they don't understand." He'd gotten used to it, but he'd been living with visions for about his entire life.
"I guess?" Molly shrugged again and sighed. "Anyway, the whole thing is done with now and aside from my mom constantly ragging on me about stopping magic before I do it again, things are normal again." Her dad didn't really talk about it much so she didn't worry on his end. "You live in a magical area though. It's probably easier to hide stuff there, people are used to it."
"Much easier… but only because the BMA has all kinds of spells cast on the area and folks around to clean up when something happens." Gabe admitted. "Before this gets too political, finish your beer so we can find a new spot on the floor."
She laughed and nodded, drinking down the last of her beer and getting to her feet again, her hand settling on his arm almost instantly this time around as they headed back.
Two beers in, Gabe was looser, and perhaps a bit bolder. He held Molly a bit more as they danced. He could always excuse it with the fact that the floor was more crowded now. He wasn't expecting anything more from Molly than dancing, but that didn't mean they couldn't do some close dancing too, just to mix things up some.
She only had one so far but proportionally it hit her a bit harder than it did him, so she was a bit loosened up too and her body swayed with him, her hands touching his hips and arms more regularly and her form positioned much more closely to his this time around. He was not bad on the dance floor and she was having fun, so she didn't object to being nearer to him.
More dancing - more drink breaks and more dancing until it was getting on closing time. Gabe was actually less drunk than he'd been the night before, but he wasn't competing with his friends. Neither was he trying to obliterate the night, wanting to hold some focus for Molly. It didn't mean he was entirely walking straight as they left the club. The E the bartender gave him point probably didn't help that either. He felt good though. "Better going with friends, Molly?" he asked.
Molly too had a good deal of alcohol in her system, also paired with E she had also taken from the bartender. Her hand rested on his arm, stroking it lightly as they walked out. "Much better, yes. It was a lot of fun." Her words were a little bit slurred, but she was managing to get around well enough with the slight support of his arm.
"I make a good fake-boyfriend." Gabe pronounced, leading Molly to a quiet corner outside the club. "Okay. Apparating now. Hold on." He might not have to, but he wrapped his arms around her more fully to transport them, stumbling obviously when the world around them resolidified in the gazebo behind his house. "Home sweet home." A mixture of lights were on in the sprawling ranch house. Gabe's brows drew together as he tried to work out which lights they were, who was home and where people were. He was a little too fuzzy from the alcohol and drugs to entirely work it out and gave up on the entire endeavor.
"You do, yes. Very good. All the beers and dancing." Molly nodded wisely and smiled as he pulled her close- though she too stumbled when they landed in his yard. It was big, though her own house was a good size too and so she wasn't hugely stunned by it. Her hand slipped to hold his for a second, appreciating the feel of being able to touch at the moment. "So, what to do now then?"
"Depends. Hungry?" They could raid the kitchen if she was. He could always eat. "Are you sleeping with me? Or the guestroom?" he asked. He hadn't released her yet; it hadn't occurred to him to do so. "I could eat."
"Food is always good." And she had no problem eating whenever. "And then your room? I don't want to get you in trouble or anything though so if the guest room is better could do that too." She grinned at him, her body remaining close in his arms. The idea of moving away wasn't one that had occurred to her either.
"No one comes into my room anymore." Not since they stopped having a nannie. Unless he woke up screaming but that hadn't happened in a couple years. He'd gotten used to the nightmares. "Right. Kitchen. This way." Gabe finally shifted his grip so that they were holding hands but only because he couldn't walk the way they were. He led her across a patio to a door that opened directly into the well lit kitchen.
She nodded. It wasn't like that where she was and honestly it never had been. She'd always - as long as she could remember - had younger siblings around that came in and out when they wanted. She followed him to the kitchen and looked around, taking in the house. "It's nice. Something easy?" Because she really could not cook at all and she didn't know if he could either.
Gabe could no more cook than anyone in his family. "There's usually something ready to be reheated," Gabe said. Growing up without a mother meant they relied on food delivery and the work of a couple house elves. He said, opening the icebox and pointing Molly to the counter which had various baked goods she could inspect for suitability.
Molly laughed. "That would be a scandal at my house. We always have fresh things unless dad's away. Sometimes we order then." Well, sometimes she did anyway. She examined the offered food and picked up a muffin, pulling a piece apart and popping it into her mouth. She moved closer to him and her fingers moved back to his arm, a smile curving her lips.
"The house elf makes cooks, but we all have different schedules." He was up at noon and out until the wee hours of the morning for example. Gabe responded to her touch with a smile and began to run his other hand up her arm.
She smiled and nodded. It made sense really, the whole thing. They had no house elves back home though so that sort of made it harder. Her mom cooked for everyone all the time. She pulled another bit of muffin, poising it at his lips to offer it to him. "They cook well at least. I can't even make eggs..."
He took it, and if his mouth brushed her fingers, he could always pretend it was accidental. He watched her reaction as he did, dark eyes curious. "I'm glad you like it."
A slight flaring of her pupils, obscuring almost all the normal blue in her eyes, and a tiny, almost imperceptible hitch in her breathing came when he ate the bit of muffin. She smiled faintly, taking another bit for herself before moving slightly away, leaning on the counter. It was almost a game now- see how he would react to what she did.
He caught the dilation of her eyes, before she moved away. She was receptive at least. "Something to wash it down?" he asked, still studying her carefully. He stepped back to get a glass out of the cabinet.
"Whatever you're having?" She wasn't feeling all that picky drink-wise, and she nibbled another bit of muffin while she waited. It was really good and she assumed there was some sort of charm on it to keep it fresh.
Gabe grabbed… some kind of juice. It wasn't green and that is what decided him. He took a sip from the glass, and then offered it to Molly. If she was feeding him, she might not be opposed to sharing a glass…She said she'd have whatever he was having.
She took a sip from the glass he offered, then offered him a bit more of the muffin she was eating. The juice was good as well - cool and refreshing. She smiled again at him and shifted herself slightly, getting more comfortable against the counter.
Gabe was facing her, watching her. "How was the juice?" he asked, reaching next to her to set the glass on the counter beside her… and leaving his hand braced on the edge of the counter. His other hand raised up so he could run his fingers along her arm.
"Very good." Her eyes moved to his hand moving on her arm and then flickered to meet his- again, not for very long but longer certainly than at the club. Her skin tingled at the touch and she let out a small pleased sigh.
"I'd like to kiss you." Gabe admitted, his eyes on her lips. It wasn't exactly right for a fake-boyfriend and a friend. Not everyone could handle casual relationships. And she was his captain. "Not exactly in a friend way."
"I don't think I can complain." Her eyes met his again, lingering for a moment as her lips parted, just barely. Kissing was not a big deal to her really, she could handle that and whatever happened happened honestly.
"I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable." He said, though his expression didn't change. The parted lips were pretty. "Or change what we have." He was leaning in though, getting closer even as he spoke.
"We're friends." Molly nodded slightly at his assertion that he didn't want to change what they had. Friends didn't mean they could not kiss, especially now when she felt so good and wanted him touching her.
That was enough permission for Gabe to close the distance between their mouths. He started gently, not pushing her for anything open mouthed but his lips soft against hers and perhaps coaxing and inviting if she wanted more.
Molly responded to the kiss, her hand moving to the back of his neck and lingering there. He was a good kisser- that was something she knew well enough from experience, even if she hadn't gone all the way. She had gotten close enough with her last boyfriend, but then he was with one of her friends now and that ended.
He shifted closer, letting his body brush against hers, and beginning to escalate things. She was responding. He responded too, gently inviting her to open her mouth to him - inviting her to explore his. Although the hand on the counter remained there, the other one moved to cup her face gently.
She allowed her own body to shift closer to his and her hand slipped up into his hair, knotting into it slightly and holding him in place. Her tongue slipped very slightly into his mouth, almost teasing, and her body molded closer to him again.
She drew a small sound from him when she knotted her hand in his hair. Molly had found one of his erogenous zones. Her gentle teasing with her tongue was met with him instantly deepening the kiss, taking it over. The playful teasing was - at least for the moment - gone.
The sound was enticing honestly. She liked touching and feeling and her hips instinctively pushed closer to him as he kissed more deeply, allowing her tongue to swirl around his, extending the teasing a bit even as her body strove to get closer to him.
Closer was a good idea. Gabe pressed her back into the counter. His hand moved into her hair as he kissed her - enjoying the way her tongue engaged with his. Enjoying kissing her in general. He gave up holding the counter to wrap his arm around her instead.
Molly tangled her hand tighter in his hair, her body pressing firmly to his as his arm wrapped around her. A soft growl rose in her throat and her other hand dropped the muffin finally, gripping hard onto his back, needing to be able to touch him more than just in one spot.
Just friends and pretend boyfriend for the night was quickly becoming friends with benefits as they made out in the kitchen. Gabe didn't mind although Molly might accuse him later of setting this up, since she'd teased him all night about how he wasn't getting any tonight. Gabe considered having his tongue in her mouth getting something. Since she was clearly getting into it, he could move from just a kiss to her neck and ear and generally escalating things again.
He wouldn't likely get sex- she had not ever done that and so to have it happen like this wasn't something she wanted. Potentially things like oral though. She was not even a little bit opposed to pleasuring him and being pleasures in return. The same soft growl that had been offered at the kissing emerged as he moved to her neck, and she allowed her head to fall back slightly, a flush rising on her cheeks and chest.
Sex was sex. Handjob, blowjob… It still brought pleasure to both parties. It was different kissing Molly though - she was nearly his height even in the flats she wore. He didn't have to bend down. He didn't have to lift her onto the counter in or to make the heights more balanced and make kissing easier. "I'm ready for bed… if you are."
She appreciated his height as well. It wasn't as hard to find guys as tall as her, but it was always irksome that many were shorter than she was and it tended to make them uncomfortable after a while. She smiled at his suggestion and nodded. "Very much ready for bed, yes."
He kissed her another moment before breaking it off. "Bed," he repeated, as though reminding himself. His hands dropped to her waist, and then ultimately released her to take her hand and lead her through the house to his room. He pulled his wand to light the way without having to turn on every light, although he did turn on the lamps in his bedroom.
His room was nice, if a little bland in a professionally designed kind of way. Conscientiously designed for a male heir of the family. Gabe didn't particularly show it off or take note of it as a thing although he pointed out "Bathroom is through there," for his ensuite. He was watching her face just to make sure she was still okay with this.
Molly nodded at the repetition of the indication that they should go to bed, following him along through the house. She allowed her fingers to twine with his and looked around as she walked, intrigued by the details in the house. It was very different from her own, most certainly, and clearly he was much more wealthy than her solidly middle-class family.
She looked at his room when she entered and a slight shake of her head was offered. “Doesn’t really suit you.” She walked to the bed, ignoring his indication of the location of the bathroom, and seated herself on it. “This is comfortable at least, though.”
Gabe looked around the space he took for granted. It didn't suit him? It seemed a strange observation. He hadn't particularly thought about it before though. And was only here on breaks from Hogwarts. They both spent the majority of their time there.
"The new decoration on my bed is an improvement, I'll grant you that" Gabe smiled, following her to the bed, and moving to sit beside her. "Now… where were we?" He leaned in to begin kissing her again.
For all that she was only home at select times, her room was distinctly hers. Posters on the walls, quidditch pennants, and a definite lived-in look when she was home. With so many siblings her dad thought it important that they all had a space that was theirs and she was glad of that.
A smirk at his comment and she leaned into his kiss, her hand touching his cheek lightly. Kissing him was nice, certainly, and she didn't mind picking up, not even a little bit.
Gabe liked her smile. And kissing her. Her hand on his cheek was a good encouragement And that spot on her neck looked quite appealing. It tasted good too. He could feel the flutter of her heartbeat, and flicked his tongue at that point.
Molly let out a sigh of pleasure as he kissed and licked her neck. He was very good at this and she pushed aside the thought of how many girls he must have been with to be this good. That was not important. They were friends that were messing around. This didn't and wouldn't mean anything.
Gabe didn't keep track, and not all of his hook-ups were sexual - and most of the sex he had wasn't penetrative. But he paid attention, listened, and wasn't afraid to ask questions either. It had benefited him to ask what his partner liked. And Molly seemed to like what he was doing now. His hand brushed her breast as he reached up to cup her neck. "I won't mark you…" He reassured her. Not when she was already worried about going home and what her family would think.
Molly did like what he was doing, though she was grateful when he said he wouldn't mark her. That would be just her luck, having to explain that to her parents. A corollary though was offered. "You can be as rough as you want as long as my clothes cover it later." A slight hint of teasing and she shifted herself to nip at his earlobe, flicking her tongue over it after to soothe him.
Gabe met her eyes, grinning wickedly at her suggestion. "And here I thought we were just making out… and you suggest that?" He shifted his hand to cup her breast more deliberately. "You can mark me all you want," he said, tilting his head to give her easy access to his neck and ear.
"Not interested?" A teasing note rose in her voice- and possibly a bit of a challenge too, though that was a lesser part of her words. She didn't respond verbally to his offer, but moved slightly so he could have better access to her breast and she could nip more firmly at his neck.
"Interested," Gabe contradicted her, continuing to explore her breast through her clothing. He grinned when she nipped his neck, enjoying the sensation. "Just willing to respect boundaries." He began tugging her tank up so he could slide his hand underneath it.
Molly smiled at his comment and nodded. It was good that he felt that way. She knew there were some hard limits for her and she would not compromise those. Messing around a bit though wasn't a huge deal. She shifted a tiny bit to allow him to slip her top up and then flickered her tongue teasingly over the skin of his neck, nipping again.
Gabe smiled more as she worked on his neck, and then because of what he felt through her bra. "Pierced?" He enquired, amused and just a little surprised. It wasn't that he thought Molly was a 'good girl', but he hadn't come across that many individuals with piercings there. Particularly not underage. It was a little more common in the college age set to his experience.
"A lot of places." A wicked grin and she absently licked his collarbone, her hands moving to work on removing his shirt as well. His skin felt different from hers. A bit less soft, without the slight ridges from her tattoos. It was hardly noticeable to most, but she could tell just by touch.
"Busy girl," he said, teasing at her skin in return. His body was humming. He pushed her bra aside enough to tease her nippled - and explore the piercing there - with his fingers. Definitely fun to play with. "Do they make things like this better?" He asked as he touched her.
"Mm, sometimes." Her hand slid over his chest, teasing and toying over the skin with feathery touches. His fingers on her nipple felt really good and her skin was tingling from the contact - she wanted more, and to that end she shifted, moving closer to him and finally settling herself half on his lap. "It's more sensitive, yeah. You can pull if you want... It doesn't hurt badly." And even if it did, that was a turn on too.
She wouldn't have much doubt of how he was feeling about her now that she was more in his lap. He leaned back on the bed, tugging her with him as instructed. Okay perhaps not strictly as instructed, but she'd said he would pull on it, and laying down was going to be more conducive to continued exploration.
She moved with him and her lower body molded against his, her hips arching slightly to add a bit of stimulation to her own as well. Her fingers continued to whisper over his chest before she bent and nipped at his skin, a bit harder this time.
Gabe made a low, pleased sound as she settled against him. If she was going to settle like that, and arch against him, he might try grinding against her a bit. It was different doing so sprawled on his bed from what they'd done on the dance floor. It was more intimate now. There it was just music and movement. He leaned up and pushed her shirt more fully out of the way to bring the breast he was playing with to his mouth so he could play another way with it and begin touching her other breast.
Molly growled as he took her breast into his mouth, her back arching slightly and her eyes closing with pleasure. She rocked her hips against him more intently, her nails scraping along his chest hard, leaving red furrows where her fingers were.
She was a scratcher… well she was pierced it made sense. Gabe didn't mind it a bit rougher. He liked it when it was just a bit out of control. Life was out of control. He pulled her hip closer, grinding into her harder - the contact felt good, being able to move against her freely. He slid a hand between them briefly to see if he could stimulate her more, although her damp panties indicated the crotch of his jeans might be doing well enough.
It wasn't hard to stimulate her more- he would feel tiny bits of metal there too, and she growled again softly, her nails again scraping him as she bent and took his nipple into her mouth, biting softly before easing over it with her tongue to soothe the bite.
Gabe grunted at the teeth, then chuckled a little. She was a bit more of a surprise than he'd expected. She was pierced there too. He hadn't really played much with that kind of piercing before. There was the guy with the Prince Albert, but that had just made the blow job more annoying to give, not more fun. Molly's was fun. He had to admit, he was enjoying playing with it through the fabric. Enjoyed rubbing himself against her knowing it was probably acting like the seams of his jeans against her and perhaps amplifying what they were doing.
It made her laugh softly at the grunt. She liked rough play, she had to admit, and he didn't seem to mind it. She moved her hips against him, wanting the feeling it would give both of them. She knew it would be really good even without going all the way. She trailed teasing kisses to his collarbone before nipping there too, her hand sliding to grab his hip.
He retaliated, pinching at her breast which was still in his hand, and then grabbed the back of her head to pull her mouth back to his. Closer. He wanted to feel her breasts pressed against his chest. And taste her while they ground into each other.
She responded instantly to his pulling her closer, rolling her hips against him as her tongue flickered at his lips. A teasing moan escaped her lips and she moved one hand to slip from his cheek to his hair, pulling it lightly to test how he would react.
He reacted positively, a low rumbling sound in his throat and a deep kiss. It felt good, having her body pressed against his, and now her hand in his hair… his own was tangled in hers, keeping her mouth close so he could kiss her. And her hips… the dancing had shown she could move them but it was nice to feel it.
She was intrigued by the sound and she rocked against him again, her hand fisting more tightly in his hair. He liked that and she was glad to give him more. The heat of his body against hers was shockingly exciting - she didn't feel like this physically with her last boyfriend, and she wasn't sure what was different. It just was though.
Gabe didn't necessarily make any further noises - although there were various sounds coming from him periodically that he didn't silence. He wasn't trying for quiet sex necessarily after all. He was occupied with relearning her mouth - getting closer and penetrating her in the way she allowed while grinding into her as she rocked her hips against him. He could get off on this alone.
With the metal pressing into her most sensitive areas, she could get off this way as well. Her hips ground harder against him and she allowed him to explore her mouth, her hands still tugging in his hair. It was good, intimacy with him, and she was enjoying kissing him greatly.
Gabe scratched his hand down her back to her butt, pulling her against him in a different way for a moment, trying to make her feel good. He could feel the tension building in his body and knew he would be a bit too sensitive for her to rub on in another minute or two, and after that he wasn't going to be hard enough.
Molly moaned again, her teeth digging into her lower lip and making a soft sound against the piercing there. She was getting close, she could feel it- her body responded to the scratching and the rough friction between their bodies. It was what she needed to get off, honestly, and she bent to bite at his neck, whispering "Harder," as she did so.
Gabe pulled her more roughly against him. He was pushing towards his own release even as trying to get her off. His kiss wasn't exactly gentle, although her kept in his head that he couldn't mark her. Ultimately he gave up the kiss, after sucking on her lip ring briefly.
It really didn't take long for her to reach orgasm with the way they were moving together. She let out a soft moan and her teeth bit his neck a bit harder, almost certainly hard enough to leave a mark. She couldn't be marked visibly but she would not have complained about something under her clothes to remember this, that was sure.
The bite was probably what put Gabe over the edge, possibly. He wasn't actually analyzing the moment, it just felt good and he knew he was making a mess in his pants. That's what wands were for though. Gabe kissed her softly, briefly. "I'm going to need to clean up," he admitted with a sloppy grin.
Molly grinned back at him and playfully nipped his earlobe again. "You're a wizard, aren't you?" A hint of teasing in her tone. She knew he could vanish the mess and clean himself with a spell. They were both of age, after all. "Putting it out there, that was pretty fucking hot."
"I didn't figure you wanted me pulling it out to charm it," he said, not actually moving to do anything yet. She was still on top of him and he rather liked the feeling. "I said you were fucking hot," he pointed out.
"Do what you have to?" Molly shrugged. It wasn't like she hadn't seen naked guys before. She just hadn't done more than hands and mouths in regard to it. "You did, but you neglected to mention your skills." A slightly embarrassed look at the comment on her own looks though. She had done her research and she knew why guys noticed her, when they did. It wasn't always about her. Pheromones or something.
"I don't go around bragging," he laughed. "Bad form," he added. He also tended to let what he did speak for itself. He didn't make a big deal of his visions either. He brushed her hair from her face. "And generally people talk."
"I don't listen to gossip." Her eyes met his and she offered a smile, allowing him just a few extra seconds of eye contact. She didn't often do that, she always found she saw too much (now not being an exception, and a tiny frown flickered across her lips before she looked away.) Her fingers lightly brushed his cheek, just for a second, and she shrugged. "Go ahead and clean up. I'm gonna change, okay?" Because she'd brought sleepwear along too.
Gabe caught the flash of frown as she looked into his eyes, and rolled up from the bed when she shifted to get up herself. He wasn't drunk enough for visions, or talking about his visions or whatever sign of his darkness she'd just seen. "Take the bathroom," he offered. It was polite, but also his clothing was out here. He'd have to dig through his drawers to find pajama bottoms, boxers were probably not quite enough.
Molly nodded, heading to the bathroom to change. It didn't take long before she was back out, cleaned up and changed into pajamas. She offered a smile as she moved to perch back on the bed, flopping back to lie down. She saw no reason to bring up what she'd seen, it wasn't her business really and she knew it.
Gabe looked over her pajamas. "Cute. Decidedly non-sexy too." He tried to find the teasing tone again. "Am I okay like this?" He was shirtless but his bottom half was covered. His wand holster (and wand) now bunched in his hand.
"Yeah, you're fine." Molly moved so she was actually laying in the bed, using the side of one of his pillows. She had a huge pile of them at home, a strange quirk of hers, but she could get by without when she had to. She set her wand under the pillow so she could reach it properly left handed, and looked over at him to join her.
As soon as she assured him he didn't need to find a t-shirt too, he was returning to his bed. He dumped his wand and holster on the bedside table, waving his wand to turn the lights down. "Good… it is already going to be hot in bed with you."
He had no idea. She knew her body ran somewhat warm and that she probably should cast a cooling charm to counteract that. Her fingers slipped under the pillow and she touched her wand, focusing on that to cast the spell wordlessly and shifting a bit so that one hand was casually touching him, though the rest of her was simply in what she considered a normal sleep position.
He had meant it in a flirtatious sort of way, but sleeping with someone could be awkward. Particularly when they were friends. He liked to think he was reasonably polite in bed. He was happy to cuddle as he had with Narissa, the night before. Molly clearly was less of a cuddler clearly. He didn't mind. "What did you cast?" he murmured.
"Cooling charm. You're technically literally right. I run hot when I'm asleep." And sometimes when she was awake and angry. She had noticed that. It was just another part of her she had to get used to, and adapt to. She offered a small smile in the dim room before she closed her eyes. "Sleep well, Gabriel."
"I was teasing," he pointed out. He wondered too what had brought about her frown before they changed. He struggled to completely put that aside, even as late as it was. "Not literal." But obviously that is what teasing implied. "Sleep well, Molly."
"I know. But it's true literally so I figured you'd be more comfortable with the charm." Summer could get hot as it was she knew, and so she didn't want to make it worse in any way. He was doing her a favor by letting her stay. She leaned over and brushed a final kiss over his lips before settling, curled up to sleep.
The house was built to circulate air and keep relatively cool naturally, but then he wasn't as drunk or high as usual either. He listened to her breathing, trying to work out if she was asleep. If he should roll over, or if that would disturb her. And if he would dream if he slept.
One thing she did well was sleep. She was out quickly and while she did not remain as distant from him when she was entirely asleep, cuddling closer, she slept quietly and calmly. That was one benefit to being her, she supposed (or would have, had she been awake.)
Gabe didn't, but when she cuddled closer, it helped relax him a little bit. Enough that he could drift. He didn't sleep very deeply though, ensuring that he didn't have any dreams that might make things more awkward. Still he slept until Molly roused in the morning.
Molly didn't sleep late - it was habit that she was used to waking with the sun because of the little ones in the house. She shifted against him and stretched, nuzzling unconsciously as her eyes opened. She didn't know right away if he was awake and so she didn't speak immediately.
Gabe woke easily when she nuzzled him, and while it took a moment to open his eyes, he ran his hand along her arm. Black eyes cracked open, but like her, he didn't speak until confirming she was properly awake, not just stirring.
A small smile was offered and she brushed a light kiss over his cheek. "G'morning." Her voice was a bit sleep clogged still but given that they'd both just woken, it was to be expected. She was careful to avoid his eyes now, given that her own defenses were lower while she was waking and she didn't want to make him uncomfortable.
Gabe yawned. "How'd you sleep?" He wasn't about to admit his own sleep quality. He'd just wear shades at the party later that day, which honestly he was probably going to do anyway. His discomfort wasn't at her mind magic, which he tended to forget about most of the time, but at the assumption it was him and his powers.
"I slept okay. Usually do." Molly shrugged slightly and her eyes moved over his face, her thumb lightly tracing the hollow under his eyes. "You didn't as well, I take it?" She knew from her friends how lack of sleep looked and so she knew how to judge it. "Do you want to try and get another hour or so? I can move if it's something with me?"
"It wasn't you," he reassured her - or tried to. "Sometimes happens coming down from E if I'm not drunk enough. I'll have a Pepperup potion before heading to Sera's later." He rolled over to dig out his watch and figure out what time it was. "When do we have to get you home for?"
"Whenever. As long as I get home before bedtime out there." Disrupting bedtime would be bad. "You want me to make you some coffee for now? That's one thing I'm able to manage with a high success rate..."
Making coffee? Why would she do that? "We can just call for an elf." The house elf would even deliver it to his room. "Probably need banana too." In order to replenish the right nutrients in his body. Gabe sat up properly, his hair looking rather worse for wear, though running his hand absently through it helped restore it to something more normal looking. "How do you like yours?"
Molly wasn't used to that really no matter how long she'd been in the wizarding world. She nodded though. It made sense to eat something. She absently smoothed his hair- she did that for the kids all the time. Habit she guessed. "A little milk, and a lot of sugar." She admittedly had a sweet tooth.
Gabe flashed a smile - both at her order and at her playing with his hair. Then casually summoned the house elf, sending it off on its task. "Should only be a couple minutes." He explained. "He's usually pretty good."
Molly nodded. "We don't have an elf." It was a simple statement of fact to explain why she had not thought of it. Her eyes flickered over his face and she thought back for a moment over the time she had known him. "You often don't sleep well?" The shadows under his eyes were often there.
Gabe knew not all families did. "We have a few, although Miffy is basically retired and doesn't do much anymore." His family might have been involved in encouraging active breeding of the elves too. He watched her looking him over. "Do I look that shitty this morning?" He deflected gently.
Molly nodded. "Pretty much muggles. Us kids are the house elves." She laughed at the thought and then looked at him seriously. "I have a good memory. The circles under your eyes are not new." She had been captain last year too and so keeping track of her team was important.
Gabe shrugged. He met her look though, not looking away despite his earlier attempt at deflection. "Its part of the whole Touched thing." At least for him. He couldn't say if it worked like this for other Seers. Although he knew Lia was also a Seer, their visions were very different, and not particularly comparable. "And sometimes from the booze or drugs." He fished for his e-cigarette to get a nicotine fix since he wasn't going outside for a proper smoke yet.
Molly nodded slightly. "We all have our things I guess. No eye contact, no sleep, no talking." She didn't push for more because honestly she hadn't even expected so much of an answer, and she knew everyone in their house seemed to have some little oddity. She absently brushed back her hair from her face, offering him a faint smile as the coffee arrived. The familiar scent brought a bigger smile to her face as she took one of the mugs.
"Slytherins… we have our reputation for a reason for the most part." Gabe agreed, now alternating pulls on the e-cigarette with the coffee. A shower would help him look less like shit than Molly seemed to indicate he looked, he hoped. He'd wait until she went home though so he could take his time.
A small grin and she traced fingers over his arm. "Most of us aren't that bad when it comes to in house things." Some external people were just biased and in her opinion, sort of afraid of shadows. It was senseless to be nervous around people just because of their house. There were so many other reasons.
"Well, that's part of our reputation too." Snakes stayed with snakes after all. Gabe wasn't actually bothered. He shrugged. "How's the coffee?" Since she normally apparently had to make her own.
"It's good. Almost as good as mine." This said with a wicked smirk. "You said you're going to Sera's party, right?" She glanced over and flicked back her hair. "I'll get going soon so you can get yourself ready. I should try and get home while the family's over at the church for lunch, anyway. Get an actual shower without interruptions."
Gabe smiled - it was hard not to with the smirk. "I am, yea." He got up and stretched. "Eventually at least," he said with a laugh. "Sounds like a plan then." He didn't know enough about her family or church really to realize the special relationship her family clearly had if they lunched on Saturdays. His Saturday would be spent getting drunk with classmates, and probably thrown into the pool, which sounded a lot more fun.
