"It used to play so much when I was little. At the stores around the street I lived on. Part of their easy listening mixes of things that came out in the last couple decades. It doesn't come up much, but I've heard it live a few times. Outside bars and once at a street fair. It's really pretty."
Even if it was technically a very sad song. It was still pretty and still the kind of song that put people in a good mood after hearing it. Or singing along with it.
"If you sing it well, you'll have to sing another for me sometime," he teased.
