Inside - Ash and Lyra towards the end of the afternoon
"Being alone with a girl as beautiful as you? How could I ever resist, Lyra?" Ash said, the compliment paid there and he found himself reaching out to touch some hair he hadn't gotten quite past her shoulder. The color in her cheeks did not go unnoticed and hew knew all too well that it wasn't embarrassment that added such a blush there.
He thought of the party and how it was winding down. He could go back down there, chat a bit more, but anyone worth talking too was likely off doing something else or standing right in front of him. He'd noticed Sera's flirtations with another boy. Jealousy never struck, but he knew that the boy would count himself more than lucky should he find himself in Sera's bedroom before the night was through.
"We should go," he commented, "I'll give you a ride home."
