Christine tended to overthink many things and sometimes when she got to thinking, her thoughts came babbling out. The only way to get her off of a tangent was to distract her. Thankfully for Joseph, he continued speaking.
It was his laugh that caught her attention and the fact that he also wasn't good friends with Sera. "What a coincidence then. However, I don't really believe in coincidences. Other people questioning her sincerity? That just proves my initial wariness."
Looking around, Christine nodded. The home was nice, she couldn't deny that. It was just curious. Her own parents were well off, but they didn't live this extravagantly nor would they have allowed for such a party. Perhaps Sera lived in a much more relaxed home environment. "It's impressive."
