Ben frowned at the both of them when they shot down the idea of going after the DADA professor. He just eyed them both, listening to their justifications. He understood Lia's, though he looked to her with an upturned brow, "And what happens when she inevitably stands against us, far down the road? Because she will, and she'll fight, and she'll have to be put down eventually Lia, do not forget that." Then the seemingly perpetually angry man shot a look towards Tracey, "Perhaps you aren't capable, but I would make sure there was no cost. Still, since you both seem so dead set on letting the woman live, I'll leave her alone." Arrogance radiated from Ben in that moment, the man had no short amounts of it.
He did understand their reasonings, and perhaps even agreed with them, it simply now made him feel like he'd been challenged and wanted to prove himself against the DADA professor. He then nodded, "I know what momentum requires, Tracey. But wait too long and that momentum is lost, and do we know when the Death Eaters will strike next? Or where? We need to make Hogwarts ours, it shows our strength and gives us a bargaining chip."
He moved back towards his chair, Ren collapsing quietly into it before picking up his drink to sip at it once more, looking between the duo, "And let it be known, if we finally do feel compelled to recruit someone. If they turn us down, they die?"
