Tracey very rarely felt excitement like she felt in this moment. Her eyes may have been on the candle on the wall, on that flame that brought her such serene feelings - but her heart rate was elevated, she could feel her pulse quickening as they spoke. She knew that it was perhaps not exactly the most rational thing to be getting excited about - but excited, the tall girl certainly was. Her smirk was fading into a smile and she kept her back to her friends - just sort of relishing in the moment, her eyes still settled on the small, but energetic flame above the candle.
"Not just previous regime sympathizers." The younger of the two Slytherin girls added, "People who clearly shirk our ways. People who work with Muggles - teach at their universities, live in their communities, openly cavort with them." Tracey may have been a generally unhinged girl when it came to her emotions, when it came to acting brashly - but she was calculating. She didn't act brash just for the sake of it, she did it because it got her her way, and when it came to manipulating the minds of people, when it came to getting what she wanted out of a situation... that was the only thing that Tracey might have enjoyed more than Potions. She just took a little less subtle road towards her results than some others.
"I don't know. That's a little blatant. Its too obvious. Maybe the Grounds Keeper or Herbology. Any of the three will do in the end, but we should keep our options open." She said as she lifted a hand to shove a strand of hair behind her ear. She let out a steady breathe before adding, "And not just Gryffindors or Hufflepuffs - we have to make sure this is taken seriously. No one is safe."
She folded her arms back over her chest delicately, "Only makes sense - I don't think me or Ben have quite your artistic talent. I can work on a few books I have on some modification charms - see if there's an easy way to do it."
