It was hard to make Lia listen to things said against those that she cared for. She cared for Alexei, even though it was a painful sort of caring that she didn't know what to do with. She raised an eyebrow at Ben when he looked at her, as though daring him to push it further. The Knights were a unit, and so it seemed to her to be counterproductive to indicate that any of them were lacking, even though they all had their failings in some ways. Hers were entirely centered on her love for her brother and her refusal to accept that he could ever be wrong.
She ran her hands through her long hair and sighed softly. "The weaknesses in all of us need to go." Because it was true. They all needed to focus on each other and the cause, nothing else. She was fortunate that she didn't have much obstructing her in that. Her eyes raised to Ben and a slow grin curved her lips. "The night of the ball." Because it would not be noticed that the three had vanished for an hour at some point. With her it wouldn't have been noticed if she vanished even longer. It would be a good time though. A night of revelry for all.
She smiled at the affirmative replies to the mark. She tended to randomly sketch whatever came to mind and it was nice to know that sometimes it could be useful. "Tattooed like the mark?" Because that seemed to be the best idea, in her mind. She looked at the other two and then down for a moment. "Not Lae." Because tattooing a hemophiliac was a recipe for disaster and she would not have him hurt, not for anything in the world.
Another pause and she tapped the page of her book, clearly thinking. "One big plan. We need more." Because if the Knights were to start, they could not just stop after one activity. There had to be more of a plan to work with.
