Tracey kept her mouth shut, a telling glance shot in Lia's direction - she didn't need to repeat any words that had already been more than shared between the two girls, but she was standing her ground firmly in her opinion. Just doing it... less combatively while her friend was so indisposed. "That was quick, though to be expected with how brash she was in her decision." The tall girl examined the nails of her right hand idly, noting to herself again that she really did need to get a grip on herself after this week of self-proscribed emotional management, she wasn't the most prissy girl but she far from enjoyed the slightly disheveled air she had put off the last week - particularly since it was equal parts acting and real emotion. "Alexei might need more guidance. But I'm sure he'll still prove useful." She noted, dropping the subject of Lia's comfort very quickly, full and well knowing that if the other girl didn't want assistance there was no forcing it.
She arched a slender eyebrow as her gaze landed on the book on the table. "Preplanning there, Lia?" She said with a rather devious smirk. She closed the distance between her and the table with a light saunter and picked the book up, turning it over in her hand before putting it back down. She'd have plenty of time to read over Lia's notes and ingredients later - and she was rather curious what the other girl had come up with, and even more so excited for the potions opportunities this was going to bring. "Awesome." She said, flashing her smirk to Lia in approval before glancing to Ben.
She was doing her best to ignore his normal little quips at her. Explosions - both verbal and very physical - weren't particularly uncommon between the two, yet their friendship still managed to work in a very odd way. It was likely because for all of the fighting, they were still alike on many levels - which, if they were to be honest, was probably what caused it in the first place. "It would be the cutting of the last ties holding back anyone in the inner circle from outside weaknesses." She nodded softly, "Its as necessary for you as it was for me, I think." She noted, a hint of honesty in her voice that was particularly rare outside of present company.
