Ophelia looked away for a moment as they spoke of live, shaking her head. "It was wrong." Her voice soft as she thought about it. She glanced over at Tracey and shook her head next. "I will be fine." Because she had distractions now and she could forget about the pain. She could worry about other things. "Father owled. He will have a loyal wife." She doubted there was much choice for either of them. It should have made her happy, the fact that she was most likely being given to a man she actually liked, but then, he did not want her and so that soured it. She would survive, as she always had, and at least their ideals worked together. That meant there would be some benefit to it all.
"Rodgers. Yes." Ophelia nodded once and then motioned to a table. "Ingredients in that book." It was something she had developed and so she would have to test it. She didn't know if it was what had been used on the man, but she didn't care. The theory behind her ideas was sound and she knew that with time she could make them all work. Her fingers plucked at the sheet on the bed she was laying prone on and she sighed, shaking her head. "Experimental doses... Both of you. Maybe next week." Because the brewing would take some time and she wanted to be sure it wouldn't have negative effects in any way.
When he spoke about his parents though a small flicker of a smile curved her lips. It was a good plan and she knew how he felt about the majority of his family. "It is... A wise idea." A small nod and she brushed back her hair. "Should have more. Show that we're not just one." Even if he took the actual action, he should have some sort of backup just to be sure that he was safe. The risks were high, yes, but the reward was incredible. The Knights would be known. Their work would be recognized and their skills as well.
