Ren found himself locked in his thoughts while the two talked, scanning each of them with his eyes while trying to decide on his own personal agendas, that is until he felt Tracey approach and looked up to the young woman, tilting a brow up, "Good to know you have it within your person. Though, I feel in the coming months we're going to need your usual, less calculated self."
When his gaze fell upon Lia again at her discussion, he shook his head, "I've heard nothing of Alexei so far. I've been more worried about plans being set in motion than personal matters--what happened to him?"
He ignored the comment about her having a thought, for a moment, because he figured discovering what occurred with Alexei being vital information. Lia was far better than him when it came to information; while he studied plenty, it was generally in regards to magic and how to strengthen it, use it, master it. It was why having someone like Lia was so vital. This was the perfect inner circle, he thought at times, with a brash of muscle, intelligence, ferocity, and loyalty that melded them together into a perfect unit--even if they didn't always get along.
"Tracey's right, as much as it grieves me to admit it; if you're up for it, Lia, we have a good opportunity to make up for lost time over the break to plan. Take the time we have for your recovery to talk, and we can worry about the action as soon as you're able."
Thinking on it all a moment, "What was your thought, Lia?"
