Tracey slipped past Ophelia and looked at the well stock shelves. So many ingredients, many of them hard to find. Many of them off-limits unless the merchant was particularly fond or in the know about the person purchasing them. She wasn't shopping, but she was focusing on things she knew gave her clarity of mind. Lia's words. Potion ingredients. Lia's words. Potion ingredients. No turning back. No allowing the guilt to show. None of this, no more. She had made her decision and now - conscious mind or subconscious - she was going to have to lie down in bed with whatever consequences found her for her words. Positive or negative.
"I don't know." She said, her lips pursed. "It might all seem too convenient. He wouldn't leave his family's planation." She said - thinking out loud, partially for her own benefit, partially so Lia could understand her train of thought at the highest level, and partially because she was still working it out as she went along. "What if I... mention my Mother relocating with the girls..." She bit at her lip in thought before the colour drained from her face - she knew exactly what she could use. It would probably kill the little bit of her positive emotions left to use it but... it could work...
She whipped herself around - a scared look on her face, not out of fear of the unknown or their plan, out of actual fear of the next thing to come out of her mouth. A nervous hand went to her neck, rubbing the back of it gently before her index finger traced along a dulled white line - the only visible above the colour of the flannel she wore - the colour still drained from her cheeks. "Only you know, at least that I know for sure of." She said softly, she wasn't entirely sure if Lia had ever told Lae the whole truth, or if Ben had figured any of it out after they all started becoming close, but she knew that it was a well contained secret either way. "There... were plenty of rumours." A crack ran through her voice as she spoke - something only Lia had heard before from the other wise very much composed girl.
"Ben won't tell Lae if he we make it clear he can't know." She pursed her lips. "And don't worry, I promise not to say anything that would make explosions happen while I've got a needle half way through your body." She gave the red headed girl a sincere look, "Promise."
