They both knew the safety of the shop they were going to. Well, safety for them anyway. Most others, at least outside their house, would not feel safe and comfortable in a place like that. Ophelia knew how to handle herself well enough and the owner had gotten used to the pair of them- even sometimes offering them small treats and stories as they looked at items. He rarely seemed to like his customers, but the two young girls had managed to endear themselves to him.
Once they were out the door she looked around, then tucked her hands into her pockets as they walked. It didn't hurt that her wand was within and she was comforted by the smooth wood and the small ridges at the end, reminding her yet again of the skill she had. Magic was a gift, and one she was grateful for since it allowed so many things. It allowed her to help her brother. That was top priority always. Everything else was secondary.
"Mine." She affirmed the statement and shrugged. "I'll need your help." Because she couldn't get the marrow without someone assisting her. The blood was easy (though one thing she would be looking for at the shop would be a new dagger, preferably silver.) She noted the concern in Tracey's voice and smiled softly. "Will hurt, but it's for Lae." Tracey knew by now that Lia would kill, die, or anything else for her brother and so it wasn't something that was a big deal to her. She smiled at the thanks and nodded. "Not long. Will be good." They both could figure out the theory and the rest soon enough, Tracey would be back at school and able to use magic. Right now though they were already almost at the shop. Time to head in and get to discussing whatever idea Tracey had.
