Tracey lifted the mug to her lips, taking in a low and slow breath as she smelled the sweet milk and espresso - her eyes fluttering closed for just a moment as she just enjoyed the sense of being in a place where she felt wholly her own person. "That actually might not be a terrible idea." She said, Lydia Madison may not participate in all of the parties and mingling that the rest of the Marteau family did, but she had certainly been a part of that world long enough to know whispers, rumours, and still (in general) be in the loop of most social happenings. She took another long sip of her drink before putting it down on the table.
It always made her grin when Lia suggested things, she wasn't a wordy person by any means - but the words she did say usually packed a punch, or well, they did if you knew what the words really meant as much as Tracey did. "I think they're beyond the keeping busy point." She said, her tone dropping in decibel. She was exhausted. She was tired of constantly just running away from them, the combative nature of her home life (though admittedly, largely her own fault) did take a lot of energy, whether she liked to admit it or not. She never got enough sleep when she was at home and it always gave her a strange longing for Hogwarts that she only really sort of understood.
The tall, lean girl sitting across from her polar opposite friend perked up immediately at the mention of potions. "Oh? A new idea?" She smirk, the colour that had started to seep from her cheeks at the thought of just how tired she was returning quickly as she tilted her head, ready to listen.
