Ophelia nodded slightly at her friend's words. The note had come at a good time since Lae was busy getting together for the end of the break and meeting his new professor so they could get to know each other. She hoped her brother would get along with the new man, since Lae didn't deal with change all that well and stress was bad for him. She was also concerned about the rapidly chilling weather- it had started cold and the dry air didn't help much with preventing bleeds. She would work on things for that and she knew that she could ask Tracey for help when she saw her newest results. It might take a bit, but she knew that her skills were developing enough that she could improve her brother's health at least a little.
As she perched on the chair she looked around the room, taking in the people there. Fire wasn't much to her aside from a way to get warm. That was useful, yes, but she otherwise didn't care all that much. She smiled faintly at Tracey before taking a sip of her drink. It was good, as always, and she glanced at the fire before looking at the girl by her side.
"Morons." She rolled her mismatched eyes before tucking her feet up under her body. It wasn't quite ladylike, no, but she was more comfortable the smaller she made herself, and so being curled up was never bad in her mind. "Not there anymore, though." A bonus, and it meant that she could have time with Tracey now outside of the overcrowded parties they had to go to.
