Ophelia had decided that it would be nice to head back to school early, though mostly because Laertes was doing so. It wasn't so much that she disliked being home anymore. She was mostly ignored there, much like she was in other places. She didn't mind it much. She liked being able to watch and learn from people without anyone interfering with what she was doing. She also liked the fact that her being quiet caused most people to underestimate her. Not everyone, but most people seemed to think that because she used broken sentences and kept to herself with very few exceptions, she was frail and unable to care for herself. This could not be further from the truth, though the assumption amused and pleased her. She liked being able to do things and go unsuspected and undetected. It made her feel much safer, and the strangeness she exuded kept most at bay.
This didn't include her friends. Tracey was one of them, and if she were the sort to offer labels, she would call the slightly younger girl her best friend. As it was though, they simply associated with each other closely, brewing together and enjoying company. When the owl came, since she was not required to be at school, she immediately headed out to the cafe, excited to see Tracey at something that wasn't a pureblood gathering. Not that those were something she could avoid, but a relaxed setting was much nicer.
When she entered, she headed to the counter to order, hot water with lemon and honey. It was slightly strange, but it was what she enjoyed, and she took the beverage to where she saw her friend seated, offering a small smile as she removed her own coat. "Family?"
