James let her do the ring first, and watched her place it over his finger. He laughed a moment, staring at it, and shook his head as he looked to her. "My god, it's perfect... just like you. I can't believe this is real."
He was actually happy, seriously, genuinely happy and he had no idea he'd ever be this way at any point in his life with regards to marriage. He'd always been such an independent man. He never thoguht marriage was in the cards for him, and yet here he was. It was a strategic marriage, but it was one brought on by real love too.
He stared at his ring a moment, before lifting his hand to reach into his pocket, pulling out his own box and opening it to reveal the ring. He took out the ring then, and slipped it onto her finger, pushing it up past her joint and to her knuckle. Staring down at it a moment, he then looked up at her and smiled bright.
