James scoffed a bit at the implication and he just brushed his fingers along her cheek, shaking his head with a sigh, "I mean, really Sera. You've attempted to put lace in my home several times, and I haven't thrown you out to this point, if that's not love I certainly don't know what is."
James leaned in to softly kiss her, sighing some and resting his forehead against hers as he watched her, "Of course I promise. I don't give those out very lightly."
Though he seemed still a bit perturbed about her keeping something from him like that, he wasn't going to show it completely. Mostly, because he understood, and of course, he was hiding something rather big himself. He frowned at the cousin thing and rolled his eyes, "Purebloods. Really, the whole keeping it in the family thing worked so well for muggle bloodlines, why wouldn't it work for Wizards? Priorities are a bit on the lacking side I think, but really... I'd never have written you off."
James clicked his tongue, "He can force you to marry him though, can't he?"
