An Owl Addressed to Theodor Emerson at Hogwarts, Carrying a Small Paper Bound Package
Morning of January 8th, 2016

Within the package was a small, light brown dictionary bound in a delicate leather covering with burnished gold lettering detailing its contents along the binding. Written inside of the cover in a richly coloured ink is:

"Poor ego, it gets such a bad rap, being so often confused with 'megalomania' and 'vanity' and all kinds of other nasty things, but strictly speaking it is only a psychological term popularized by Freud meaning the conscious (as opposed to the unconscious) mind, or the awareness of one's own identity and existence. Nothing wrong in that, is there?"

There is no note or signature, though the owl is hardly anonymous.
