Christmas is just around the corner and our carnies will get to experience their own Christmas stories through that familiar Christmas tale, A Christmas Carol. Well, sort of, anyway. It’s the time of year for reflection, celebration, and catching up with friends and family, and characters will find themselves doing a lot of reflecting... possibly on these things, and likely more. They will be visited by events of their past, their present back home and their future. These will primarily come to them in sleep, but if your character manages to forgo sleep, they may just find themselves experiencing these events in a daydream. Feel free to have your characters sleep walk/talk/etc., wake up screaming/laughing/in tears, or otherwise disrupt the sleep of other carnival members. So even if they’re not experiencing their own ghosts, your characters might just find themselves interrupted by somebody elses. ;) ★ Start Date: Tuesday December 10th ★ End Date: Friday December 20th |
Will all characters be ‘visited’ by these events? No. Only characters you want to have participate in the plot need participate. If my character participates do they have to experience past, present and future events? No, they don’t have to experience them all, and they can experience some over others - it’s entirely up to you what they’re exposed to. Will experiencing these events in their sleep take its toll? Most likely! Depending on what they’ve experienced they may feel drained or happy or hopeless. They might be distracted from their duties. They might seek others out to tell them about what they've seen or they might go out of their way to avoid people instead. Will anyone be getting enough sleep this fortnight? Probably not. :E How exactly will they be experiencing these events? They’ll be watching them. Do the events have to involve them? No, but they have to have some relevance/link to them that can be discerned by the character involved. I have a question! Ask away in the comments. :) |
