DESTINATION #2
Unlike Avery, Enid profited from the oil boom of the past few decades, becoming an industrial town on top of its status as an agricultural trade centre. So while the drought has taken its toll on the region, Enid's industry and trade have helped to keep it afloat. That's not to say the town hasn't been affected by the depression, the local economy has been crippled by it, but both refinery and mill are operating near full capacity. The workers likely won't have much to throw around, but it's a much busier 'port' than Avery, that's for sure. Between the townships of Enid and Perry is the rumoured settlement of Bathsheba. Created as a sort of utopia for women, it is said to be devoid of males of any kind, including the animals. But no one is certain if it is - or ever was - actually there... Arrival/Setup: Mon-Tues September 16th-17th/Weds-Thurs September 18th-19th Pack Up/Departure: Sunday September 29th/Monday September 30th Dates of Interest:
Prohibition Status: Dry, with the exception of 3.2% beer. |
