Caroline really hated this, because she knew she would have to compromise her morals, to an extent. Sure, she'd killed before, to save Bonnie and when she didn't understand what was happening to her as a vampire. This would be different. Not that she was going to kill anyone. Not on purpose. But she didn't have the control an older vampire did, and she knew that. It was going to be so much harder for her here, and she didn't know what she would end up doing. Bunnies were unrealistic and unappealing. She didn't really want to even be having this conversation with him.
She'd been hoping there would be good alcohol somewhere here, but even if there wasn't...she could get used to things. At least, she hoped that she could. She didn't like this at all, but she was going to figure something out. She had to figure it out. There wasn't another option. And if she couldn't find a lot of alcohol, well...she'd have to work on an alternate solution. Klaus seemed willing to help, but she didn't know how he could help her, really. Or rather, how he would. His moral compass didn't always point due north. Then again neither did hers. "No, not really..." She told him honestly. It was really difficult to talk about this with him.
"I just don't want to hurt anyone." Caroline said, quietly. That was probably impossible, but she wanted to try not to hurt anyone. Compulsion was a powerful thing. The people she fed on wouldn't even remember the experience. As long as she didn't kill them. That was the main thing. If Klaus could at least help with that, she thought she'd be okay.
