Caroline was still highly annoyed with this whole situation, but she realized there was nothing she could do about it. Maybe if Bonnie were here, she could make something happen. She could find out who was in charge, and get them sent back home in an instant. If only Bonnie were here. Caroline missed her friend already. She wondered what happened in their time, would they just suddenly be missing...or did something else occur. She didn't know, but it wasn't something she wanted to spend much time thinking about. This whole situation was completely bizarre. And she honestly didn't know what could be behind it. Had to be magic though, powerful magic. And probably old. That was why it would really have helped to have Bonnie here. She could help tell them what they were dealing with and how to fight it. Or maybe Caroline just missed her friends.
She was dressed in the dress and shoes that had been provided to her, and her little...booth or whatever for the cotton candy was set up and ready to go. She'd chosen to keep her own bra and panties though. No one was going to see them and they were highly preferable to the undergarments of this time. Caroline tried to remember what she could about the time period, but what stuck out the most was the Great Depression. It was clear it had hit the town of Avery, Oklahoma hard. It was one thing to read about it in books, but another thing entirely to see it before her eyes. This experience was going to be something, that was for sure. She was going to need to find alcohol and a lot of it, to cope here. Because alcohol was the best way for Caroline to solve most of her problems.
She was crossing the back lot, when she spotted him. At least, she thought it was him. Was it really him? She was pretty sure. Caroline would know Klaus anywhere, but she could be hallucinating or something. Not likely, but she was trying to consider other options. How funny that she'd been thinking about him earlier and here he was. She wasn't too far away, so she decided to get closer to be sure. She was already pretty sure, her vampire senses told her, but it still could have been a hallucination due to...all this. Someone could have been messing with her too, trying to make her more compliant. She didn't like that thought at all. She stopped a few feet away from him, certain he was there now. "Klaus?"
