"We'll see how it goes," he replied. He wasn't sure himself yet what his plans were. He also had a feeling that even if he did try to cut and run, he'd wind up back here anyway. Like a bad penny that kept turning up, he was willing to bet he was pretty tied to this place. What sense did it make for them to bring people here if they didn't have something in place to keep everyone here?
