Elijah had arrived in this strange place and time, and of course the first time he thought of was rather or not Hayley was here and if she was okay. He wasn't worried about himself...or his family really, because he knew they were all survivors. There wasn't a lot out there that could do any kind of damage to them. So, for the moment the worries of taking care of things with his family and their city had to be pushed aside. He was going to go out and find Hayley. He was determined to make sure that she was safe if she was here. He left the tent that seemed to have been given to him and he made his way out into the camp. He ignored the people he past, because he could tell they weren't her. His scent would let him know when he had found her, and the last thing he wanted to do was find someone else he might know that would distract him from finding her. As much as he did care about a few of the other people in his life right now she had to come first...probably always would if he were being completely honest with himself. Just then he caught the scent of Hayley. She really was here, and now he just had to find her. He took in another whiff, making sure to completely focus on his senses. With his skill level it only took him a moment to figure out which direction the scent was coming from. He blurred in that direction, not bothering to worry about who might see him. If anyone did he certainly knew how to handle and this was one of those rare times when he would handle it after the fact. He was right on her trail, his mind focusing on everything on everything around him. She was here, so now he really was tuning in for her and for danger. If someone or something was to try and hurt her it might be one of those rare times when he completely loses his temper. Finally he came to the end of the trail and he spotted her. A smile appeared on his lips and a relieved sigh escaped him. He blurred over to her, coming up right behind her. "I have been so worried about you" he admitted right away, not bothering to hide his feelings for the moment. Apparently it was obvious to everyone else, so hiding it seemed kind of pointless the more he thought about it. "Are you alright?" he asked, not bothering to wait for her answer. He allowed his eyes to trail over every inch of her body, checking for any sign of injury. |
