Amy would have laughed if she could. Not that her being named Kelly was such a ridiculous notion, but the game itself was a little laughter-inducing. She shook her head emphatically in response to indicate that it was not her name.
She thought for a moment about how she might give clues. Even if she’d had paper and a pencil, she doubted her paws could draw or write anything of use. Then, an idea hit her. Amy took her arms and formed an upside down V, hoping he’d know that she was aiming to form the letter A. Every passing second only brought more and more frustration with her inability to communicate. Even the quietest of all introverts could at least acknowledge what was being said, occasionally letting out a ‘sure’ or ‘mmhmm’. The most expressive Amy got in this form was growling or howling. If her gesture worked even a little bit, that was a small victory for her. She’d be happy playing charades until she was human again.
