"It seems like quite a collection of people from what I've seen." Alex said. She was new, but she'd seen people around. And she'd heard some of what they were talking about. Magic was a new and foreign concept to her. It would take awhile to really accept that as being a possibility. Then again, they'd all been brought here somehow. And magic seemed like a good option for that. It sounded like Jaime knew and had seen more people around here than Alex had. "Magic, really?" She didn't know if she could buy into that. She was with Jaime, had to be some kind of trick involved.
Magic was not something that Alex was ready or willing to accept as reality, at least not for now. She could have been proven completely wrong. She just didn't even think it was possible.
"I think it'd be worth it at least for a few laughs." And it would distract from the hopeless situation that she was sure many people here thought they were in right now. Alex knew it could be a lot worse.
"It might be the most bizarre thing this carnival has ever seen." She grinned. But it'd get people's attention, and maybe whoever it was would want to take credit or something. Alex felt like they could be here awhile, though. She wasn't giving up, she was adapting.
