He met her eyes, relaxing a little at her relaxed posture. At least whatever it was she wanted to talk about didn't seem like it was going to be life or death. That was a plus. After dealing with the Kandorians for so long, anything that wasn't life or death was a plus in his book. Or as Lois sometimes said, one for the win column. He smiled faintly at the thought of Lois, hoping that wherever she was, she was safe. And preferably being protected by Clark Kent.
"Yeah, a walk sounds good to me." They hadn't ventured far from the carnival since they'd arrived -- at least not voluntarily. She'd recently been seduced by a "siren" of sorts that had left her stranded at a farm full of other women. And getting her back hadn't been fun nor easy. But none of that mattered now. She was back and he wasn't eager to let her out of his sight again anytime soon.
He motioned ahead and followed her away from the housecar and toward the edge of the carnival.
