Sam ripped the Missing Person's note with for "Sam" from the notice board and read it to himself. Aside from the age, which was off only by a few short years, the description matched him almost perfectly. The contact name said "Kara Thrace" on it. He didn't know her, but he was going to find out who she was soon enough. He slipped the note into his front pocket and briefly glanced up at the back up at the board for anything useful. Didn't look like there was much on there to see. Some random notes for meetings, some confusi-... the large paper in the center of the board caught his eye. His eyes narrowed into thin slits as he read on about the vampires traveling around with the rest of them. Get this, not only were there people actually aware of their existence, but they were volunteering to be fed on by these things. "Lautner" Sam growled to himself out loud. Dean was going to have a field day with this one. Looks like they had their first solid case with leads since they got here. Dominic Rook. "You idiot." Sam spat. At least he had a time and place to find this guy. He slipped his hand under the paper so he could tear it down and take it back with him, but his eyes dropped to a note beneath the paper and his eyebrows shot up in disbelief. He'd been sharing a tent with Diana for a week going through her things after she'd gone to sleep. He'd could recognize her handwriting anywhere by now. After she'd fallen asleep that first night he'd found a devil's trap drawn underneath her bed, but all he could find in the rest of her things were enough of her books in here to land her in one of those pornos Dean loved so much, which made Sam almost completely positive that she was a hunter at one point and for whatever reason isn't hunting anymore. He let it slide for the time being, only letting Dean in on what he knew, finding no real reason to bring it up while she was providing him with a place to keep his things safe from inclement weather and what might just be the best sex he'd had in years on a regular basis, but this note changed everything. He took his hand from underneath the paper and looked back towards the trucks. He was supposed to meet her there, but was about to blow it off and find Dean to talk about the vampire situation instead. Now it looked like Diana was already steps ahead of them. He turned away from the board and headed back to meet his date. |
