That was way easier than the vampire ever experienced despite her lack of age as an immortal. She hadn't even really compelled him to bare his neck for her...yet. He just did it himself. Could this human be one of those exceptions? The kind that willingly gave blood to a vampire because they craved the sensation of fangs digging into their flesh? Desperate hunger drove Elena's gaze from the young man's face and to his neck, specifically to the throbbing pulse point just below the thin level of skin. She could hear it so clear. Crystal. She swallowed, a hand reaching out to touch his shoulder and draw him closer.
Her human facade crumbled under the weight of her vampire blood lust. Brown eyes shifted to coal, bottomless black and her canines elongated, her skin cracking and splintering as the monster within slowly took over. "Lindsey. You're pretty smart," she replied smoothly, lips pulled back, fangs bared and she bend her head, brushing the sharp ends against his neck. "Don't worry. I won't hurt you. Much." Her arm slithered around his waist, pulling him in as her teeth sunk in, blood instantly pooling to the surface and washing over her tongue. It was so warm. So sweet. It sated her hunger, filling the emptiness, and bringing a brief amount of color back to her pale flesh. Elena was a walking skeleton no longer.
