Caroline had been out walking. Selling cotton candy was pretty simple, but she didn't like to just stand there all the time. People were a sucker for a pretty face and bubbly personality, and she'd sold a lot that very nice. It didn't seem like it would be that big of a deal for Caroline to take a little break and walk around. It was getting late, anyway. She did her best to try and not think about how hungry she was. Not having the alcohol available like there was in her time was really hard. She was going to learn to control it though, Klaus had said he would help her. She was relying on him here, a lot more than she would have been at home. It was strange, but Caroline was definitely seeing him a different way now.
As she was walking, she spotted Klaus. She figured he had just gotten done with one of his performances for the evening. He was probably in pain, though she knew he'd be healing already. He healed even more quickly than she did. It wouldn't be long until he was fully healed, though she imagined it would take more to heal his mood. Maybe she could help with that. But Klaus wasn't alone. He was talking to a small girl with dark hair. Caroline could only see the back of her right now. She didn't know who it was, but she didn't think much of it.
She continued to walk towards them, and when she got close enough, she realized who it was. She tilted her head in confusion, and looked at Klaus for a moment, and then at the girl. "Oh my God! Anna?" Clearly she didn't believe it. Anna was dead. This place could bring back the dead...even? That was...probably not good. Caroline knew 12 dead witches that would love to have her head right now. Not that Klaus would let them. He hadn't at graduation. Was this because Bonnie had dropped the veil back home? But how could it be effecting them here?
She was close enough now, that she stood next to Klaus, still kind of staring at Anna. She didn't really even know the girl before she'd met her end, it had been before Caroline was even a vampire. But she knew if Anna was here...other dead beings could be here too and that made her nervous, and maybe a little bit hopeful. Maybe she'd see Bill Forbes again. She really did miss her dad.
