"Yeah, I thought that too," Jaime replied. "The ... weird thing. Not the stalkable thing." She grinned. "But you are stalkable," she added. She was sure she wasn't the only one who'd been trying to find him, but she was probably the only one who was like him and wanted to help him.
Jaime lapsed into thoughtful silence, then after a moment or so, she poked him lightly with her foot again. "Wanna go out with me?" She asked, a little grin tugging at her lips. "I mean, I get it if you'd rather not date your stalker, but ..." Jaime trailed off and shrugged slightly. "Guess we can start there if you wanted and see where things go."
She really did wonder now if she was over tired, because she had a feeling this was one of the most random and potentially awkward conversations she'd ever had. But she did find him attractive, she liked spending time with him, and he clearly had some opinion of her that might be conducive to wanting to date her. It seemed like a logical place to start things.
