"Yeah." Going through memory lane wasn't easy for him. Everything that had happened in the past two years was just a hit after hit and alot of times it fell on him. Whether it was losing someone or dying himself, people just kept leaving and eventually he did the same thing. It was over so quickly and he never had a chance. And now that he was back, it was bittersweet. To be alive again and with his sister and Bonnie - it's what he wanted, but knowing that Bonnie paid the price for it ... And now she wasn't even here.
"Yeah, so," he shrugged and gave her a brave smile because that's all he could do. He didn't want her looking at him that way. Like she pitied him. It was a familiar look he usually got from people and he guessed that was if he was lucky. Usually he was in the background, forced to work through everything on his own. But he wasn't alone now was he?
"It just never seemed to end and now this ..." Looking around, the darkness just took over and the lights from the carnival had died down. It was the end of the night.
"You need to get fed, I ... I can't. Hunter's blood."
